Dr. Amna Khamis, Junior Professor Chair at the European Genomics Institute for Diabetes – Imperial College London, presented a scientific talk at DDI titled ‘Unravelling (epi)genetic drivers of type 2 diabetes and its trajectory to related complications.’

Dr. Amna’s current work focuses on developing strategies to bridge the gap between genetic variant identification and physiological insights in type 2 diabetes.
