DDI and KISR Sign MOU

Dasman Diabetes Institute (DDI) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research (KISR) on Tuesday November 26, 2024 in efforts to exchange knowledge. resources and research skills between the two organizations.

Dr. Faisal Hamed Al-Refaei, Acting Director General of DDI, stated that the signing of this MoU has a positive impact and mutual benefit for both parties. It allows for the exchange of resources and expertise in multiple research fields between the two parties, including food production and studying its impact on obesity and non-communicable diseases, including diabetes. The transfer of knowledge is also important to both parties, this includes seminars, lectures, practical training, publishing research data in peer-reviewed scientific journals, and many other aspects of joint cooperation.
