Classic Chicken Caesar Salad
A protein-rich salad that is satisfyingly creamy with better-for-you ingredients.
Ingredients
For the salad:
- 1 head romaine lettuce chopped
- 180 g chicken breast skinless
- Cooking spices (cinnamon, cardamom, bay leaf)
- 1/2 protein bread
- 1/2 tbsp parmesan cheese grated
For the dressing:
- 1/2 cup greek yogurt low fat
- 1/2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp mustard
- 1 clove garlic mashed
- 1/2 tsp oregano
- salt, black pepper
Instructions
- Cook the chicken breast in a pot of water. Add the chicken spices and cook for 30 minutes.180 g chicken breast, Cooking spices (cinnamon, cardamom, bay leaf)
- Cut the protein bread into squares and place in the air fryer or oven. Bake for 5-8 minutes until toasted.1/2 protein bread
- Combine all sauce ingredients in a bowl or jar.1/2 cup greek yogurt, 1/2 tbsp olive oil, 2 tbsp lemon juice, 1 tsp mustard, 1 clove garlic, 1/2 tsp oregano, salt, black pepper
- In a large bowl, add the lettuce and cooked chicken breast. Add the sauce.1 head romaine lettuce
- Garnish the salad with the toasted protein bread and parmesan cheese. Enjoy!1/2 tbsp parmesan cheese
