DDI’s GIS Team Participate in KFAS-LSE Conference

Dr. Dhari Al-Huwail, Dr. Saad Al-Sharrah and Dr. Abdullah Al-Ibrahim from Dasman Diabetes Institute participated in the LSE Kuwait Annual Conference ‘Delivering Excellence in Healthcare in Kuwait’ organized by the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences. The Conference aimed to use the latest global research and technologies to present innovative solutions to improve the healthcare sector in Kuwait.

About DDI

Dasman Diabetes Institute (DDI) was established under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Jaber Al Ahmed Al Sabah, the late Amir of the State of Kuwait, and the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS) to combat the prevalence of diabetes in Kuwait.

Mission:

To address the diabetes epidemic in Kuwait through focused diabetes research, integrated prevention, training and education.

Vision:

To be the leading diabetes institute in the MENA region and to be recognized internationally.
