Dr Ebaa AlOzairi, Chief Medical Officer, and Jumana AlKandari, nutritionist and Head of DAFNE Program, joined Kuwait’s premier nightly program ‘Layali Al Kuwait.’ The Medical Sector team were interviewed live to discuss the latest medical and research achievements of the Institute.

About DDI

Dasman Diabetes Institute (DDI) was established under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Jaber Al Ahmed Al Sabah, the late Amir of the State of Kuwait, and the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS) to combat the prevalence of diabetes in Kuwait.

Mission:

To address the diabetes epidemic in Kuwait through focused diabetes research, integrated prevention, training and education.

Vision:

To be the leading diabetes institute in the MENA region and to be recognized internationally.
